The St. Stephens and St. Agnes softball squad added to their collection of achievements this season with a 9-2 win over cross-town rival Episcopal this past week.
Sophomore Alexis Sargent logged one of her finest performances of the season on the mound, striking out 16 while racking up two RBI at the plate in the April 19 rout of the Maroon.
Sargent had an equally dominating outing against Flint Hill just days later, earning another 16 Ks in the 14-2 win. The undefeated Saints, now 8-0, head into the final stretch of the season with a string of impeccable victories. They head to Stone Ridge before taking on Georgetown Visitation on April 28.
