Episcopal dropped two in a row to cross-town rival St. Stephens and St. Agnes last week to bring their losing streak to five.

The 1-7 Maroon headed into the two-game series having not won a game since their victory over Pope John Paul the Great on April 2. The Saints crushed the Maroon in their first matchup of the year, 9-3, on Thursday. Though their bats came alive on Friday the Maroon fell again, this time 10-8.

For the Saints, the pair of wins puts them at 6-5 on the season. After a slow start in the 2011 campaign, theyve won four of their last five matchups.

The Saints face Landon for the second of a two game series on April 21 while Episcopal looks to lick their wounds with a matchup against Bullis the same day.
