Muggers jumped a pedestrian walking the 5400 block of N. Morgan St. in broad daylight earlier this month in a failed attempt to make off with her purse, police say.
    
One of the two men forced her down while the other tried to pry her purse from her hands about 11:11 a.m., April 4. The woman clung on to the bag until the suspects gave up and fled, authorities said. 
    
She was uninjured by the attack. The suspects remain at large, police said.
