Another pedestrian suffered injuries in a seemingly random attack on the 3800 block of Executive Ave., according to police. 
    
Two men were walking in the neighborhood about 9:05 p.m., May 16, when the assailant approached and lashed out. After striking the victim in the head, leaving him with minor injuries, the suspect fled, said Ashley Hildebrandt, department spokeswoman. 
    
They do not know what sparked the attack, she said, nor do they have a description of the suspect. 
    
The assault came just two days after a pair of men attacked a woman walking in the neighborhood, punching her in the mouth. The duo fled after she screamed for help, according to authorities.
