After putting their first loss of the season behind them, the St. Stephens and St. Agnes softball squad has gone on a tear, winning three in a row as they head to the Independent School League playoffs.
Georgetown Visitation squeaked by the formerly undefeated Saints in a 1-0 victory, but the SSSAS squad bounced right back, trumping Highland, National Cathedral and Maret in successive wins. The three-game streak means the Saints will enter the ISL playoffs with a 13-1 record.
Though their opening round opponent has yet to be announced, the Saints are three games away from winning their second consecutive ISL title. They begin their postseason campaign May 13.
