They were nimble on the field, but the T.C. Williams Titans boys lacrosse squad were just as sharp in the classroom. 

Though the Titans bowed out of the playoffs after dropping a first-round Northern Region Tournament game to Langley, seven of the teams standouts have earned Academic All-Region honors.

Titans Jay Whitmire, Ben Bilodeau, James Carragher, Ben Goodwin, Robin Bomberger, Matt Czechanski and Tim Dwyer were honored with the distinction. Goodwin, the team captain, also was recognized as an Academic All-American.
