Apparently irate an 800 block Slaters Lane pizzeria had closed up for the night, an unidentified man kicked in the glass door and fled, say Alexandria police.

     
The man arrived in a truck at 1:19 a.m. July 15, got out of his vehicle and tried to open the locked entrance, said Ashely Hildebrandt, department spokeswoman. An employee still in the store watched as the man smashed the glass door.    
    
He tried to confront the man but was unable to catch up to him, police said.     
    
Police havent released the restaurants name or a description of the suspect. They do not have a cost estimate of the damages. 
    
No arrests have been made, Hildebrandt said.
