A year after leaving T.C. Williams, Charlie Digby is back on the field hockey pitch and making waves, scoring her first collegiate goal for Ball State University Saturday. 

The freshman forward scored one of three goals for the Cardinals in their 9-3 loss to Rider University. Digby found the net at the 63-minute mark of the non-conference game.

Teammates Sanne Hermans, of The Hague, Holland, and Devanny Kuhn, of Louisville, Ky., also scored for the Cardinals. 

During her time at T.C., Digby racked up 16 goals, 35 assists and was a member of 2007s undefeated squad. She served as team captain during her senior year in Alexandria.
