Despite coming into their season opener outranking their opponents, the Episcopal Maroon fell 10-7 to Flint Hill to start the 2011 gridiron campaign.

After going scoreless in the first half, the Huskies forced their way into Episcopals end zone on a three-yard run by senior Trevor Ogundepo. Not to be outmatched, Episcopal senior running back Johnny Bond punched through the Huskies defense for a 15-yard touchdown run soon after.

But the 2-0 Huskies responded with a 20-yard field goal, enough to seal the September 17 game for Flint Hill.

Episcopal faces in-town rival Bishop Ireton next. The two teams take to the field at 1:30 p.m. September 24.
