Prepping for their final game of the regular season, the T.C. Williams volleyball squad has their work cut out for them.
The Titans have dropped two games since coming off a 3-0 win against West Potomac and their third consecutive championship at the Alexandria City Tournament. Nearly a week after beating backyard rivals Bishop Ireton and St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes in the annual citywide showdown, T.C. fell 3-0 to South County.
The Titans came up short on the court once again Monday, falling 3-1 in a matchup with Lee. The twin defeats put T.C. at 7-12 on the season and 1-4 in conference play.
They faced a struggling Annandale squad to end the regular season Wednesday, after the Times’ deadline. Coming into the season finale, the Atoms were 1-13 and 0-4 in the Patriot District.
Playoffs begin Monday, with T.C. slated to play an as-yet-undetermined higher seed.
