Teammates Arnaud Adala Moto and Kethan Savage, veterans of Episcopal’s high-octane basketball squad, have signed on early with Division I schools.

Adala Moto, a Washington Post First Team All-Met after averaging 17.2 points a game during the 2010-11 season, will continue shooting hoops for Wake Forest University after graduating in the spring. The 6-foot-6-inch senior accepted a full scholarship from the Demon Deacons earlier this year.

Savage, named to the Post’s Third Team All-Met, will play for George Washington University following graduation. The 6-foot-3-inch senior averaged 17.6 points a game while playing for the Maroon during the 2010-11 campaign.

Adala Moto and Savage aren’t alone in making college plans. Fellow Episcopal athletes Kelly Chandler and Emma Holt also announced their plans to play for DI schools. Chandler will take her lacrosse talents to Vanderbilt University. Holt, who splits time between lacrosse and soccer, will wield the crosse for Bucknell University next year.
