“I am pleased that Matt has committed to attend West Point, said Episcopal’s Headmaster Rob Hershey. He is a talented young man with extraordinary competitive spirit. We are proud of his accomplishments at EHS, and I know that Matt will make a positive contribution to life at West Point.”

Hurley looks forward to continuing a family tradition of military service, “Both my grandfather and father served in the armed forces,” Matt said. “This is an incredible opportunity for me to be able to serve my country, receive a superb education, and to play for a nationally ranked Division 1 lacrosse team. I am very grateful for the well rounded and challenging academic and athletic programs afforded to me by Episcopal High School, as well as all the support I received from family, teachers, coaches, and faculty.
