BurgerFi’s Old Town location has closed, according to a social media post from the restaurant.

The location, which was located at 111 N. Pitt St., quietly closed on Sept. 30. It was the upscale burger chain’s only location in the city.

“We’d like to thank you for patronage but unfortunately we’ve closed our BurgerFi Alexandria, VA location,” a Facebook post from the Old Town BurgerFi read. “We appreciate your support and encourage you to continue to follow us on social media and visit us at other locations.”

No reason was given for the restaurant’s closure, which opened in October 2016. The restaurant was operated by an independent franchisee.
