Three Heritage River Birch trees were planted in former Mayor Allison Silberberg’s honor at Oronoco Bay Park on April 30. 

“I am very touched,” Silberberg wrote in a Facebook post. “I love trees, and I am proud that during my term, we more than [quintupled] the number of trees planted per year — increasing the number planted from 200 trees a year to [1,000] trees a year. This is a gift for generations to come.”
