The Alexandria Police Department is investigating two robberies that took place on Tuesday night, according to two city news releases.

Police reported the first incident, an armed robbery in the 3900 block of Old Dominion Boulevard, around 10 p.m. There were no injuries, according to the release.

The second occurred later in the evening on Tuesday in the 100 block of South Jenkins Street. There was a minor injury, according to the release.
