The first Alexandria Makers Market will bring more than 22 local artisans to Port City Brewing Company from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, according to a news release.
“My intention with Alexandria Makers Market is to celebrate all the hard-working creatives based in our city, and to enable opportunities for us to showcase our talent,” market founder Alyssa Kovach said in a statement.
Three ticketed workshop events are also scheduled to take place throughout the event, including lessons in how to make bath bombs and hand-lettered ornaments, according to the event website. Tickets for the workshops must be purchased in advance. All participants will receive a complementary pint of Port City beer during the class.
