The Del Ray Business Association will be hosting two virtual events next month ahead of the local Democratic primary, which will take place on June 8, according to a news release.

On May 12, the DRBA will host a virtual mayoral debate between Mayor Justin Wilson and former Mayor Allison Silberberg. The debate between these two candidates will be moderated by NBC News2 Northern Virginia Bureau Chief Julie Carey. The event is scheduled to take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Zoom, according to the release.

The following week, on May 15, the DRBA will also host a virtual forum that will feature the candidates running for Alexandria City Council. This event is scheduled to take place from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend both events and will be able to view recordings of the de–bates on the DRBA’s website at www.visitdelray.com.
