The Alexandria Police Department investigated a man’s sudden death that appeared to have occurred as the result of a fall on Sunday, according to a news release. The incident was later ruled a suicide, according to APD Public Information Officer Amanda Paga.

The adult male was discovered dead Sunday morning just after 6 a.m. in the 300 block of Yoakum Parkway, according to the release. The investigation remains active, according to Paga.
