On March 18 at approximately 10:26 p.m., the Alexandria Police Department responded to a call for shots fired in the 400 block of North Armistead Street according to a news release. A 32-year-old male victim was found with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
