According to a release, Alexandria Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 1300 block of Madison Street. “On June 30 at approximately 11:30 p.m. a 48-year-old male was shot and taken to a local hospital. The victim suffered upper-body trauma and is currently in critical but stable condition,” per the APD. This incident remains an active investigation.
