The ProclaimersThe Birchmere – Sunday, September 13

If you are aware of this two-man Scottish band at all, its probably because theyre the answer to a 90s one-hit wonder trivia question, Who sang the song, Im Gonna Be (500 Miles)? While they havent had as much success since that repetitive hit rose to No. 3 on the singles chart in 1993, twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid have continued to produce gloriously interesting ditties with a folkish bent. Out supporting their eighth studio release Notes&Rhymes, The Proclaimers are an act that you may want to reconsider for the first time.
