Last Call: The Musical, written and directed by Jason Ellis, is a story of friendship, allyship, and feminism against a backdrop of exploitation, racism, and sexism in the 1960s entertainment industry. Set in Washington, DC, it has been described as a creative melding of popular musicals such as ‘Sister Act’, ‘Dreamgirls’, and ‘Hairspray’.
