Del Ray Dog Fest & Yappy Hour

The 2nd Annual Del Ray Dog Fest is a fun outdoor event that will include dog-centered activities, dog menu items, live music, vendors and food on April 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the George Washington Middle School parking lot. This festival is dog friendly and takes place outdoors, rain or shine. Special thanks to our presenting sponsor, The Peele Group!

Among the planned activities:
• Pups n Poses Yoga Class with Yoga In Del Ray
• Luring Course
• Off Leash Puppy Playground
• Rescue Row
• Kids Zone
• Dog Fashion Show
• Distracted Dog Race
• Live music by Rook Richards

Continue the celebration with Yappy Hours from 3-6pm at local participating restaurants/bars with featured drink and food specials and an After Party from 6-8pm at Gustave.

Advance tickets are just $15/person (& up to two dogs), or $20/person (& up to two dogs) at the door. The first 500 to purchase tickets will get a swag bag with a bandana and waste bag dispenser!

NEW THIS YEAR: An exclusive VIP option, giving your pup early access to the fun with a smaller crowd! VIP tickets are $60 per person (& up to two dogs) and include:
• Early access to the festival from 10 to 11 a.m.: explore everything the event offers before the crowds!

• Entry into the VIP Raffle (do not need to be present to win!)

The 2024 Del Ray Dog Fest benefits the Aussie Rescue of the Mid-Atlantic, an incredible local rescue started in Del Ray that is an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue made up of Australian Shepherd owners. Collectively, the founding members have devoted countless hours in animal rescue for a variety of organizations and in a variety of capacities. Learn more at

By registering, you confirm that your dog(s) are current on their rabies vaccination and that you must be aware of your surroundings and in control of your dog(s) at all times during this event and are responsible for their actions.
