Memorial Day Ceremony

Memorial Day Ceremony at the Versace Plaza in the Del Ray Section of Alexandria. Hosted by the Mount Vernon Recreation Center Staff and the “Friends of Rocky Versace,” join Gold Star Family Members, Rocky Versace’s USMA 1959 Classmates, brothers-in-arms, high school friends and others as the community remembers Alexandria’s 68 Vietnam War Fallen Heroes. Program includes the Star-Spangled Banner, reading the names of the 68 Alexandrians whose names are on the Memorial, a wreath laying, sounding of “TAPS” and singing of “God Bless America.”
