Modern Landscape Artist at Nepenthe Gallery

Ann Sklar is a landscape painter who gains her inspiration from the ever-changing landscapes of Maine, Florida and on her travels. Ann finds painting to be an expression of her connection to both the visual world and her own inner world. Her modern landscapes, which feature abstract horizons, are meant to evoke a mood of contemplation of quiet time and place. Ann aims to create a feeling of limitlessness and mystery, and a sense that the horizon is infinite. Nepenthe Gallery is pleased to present an exhibit of Ann Sklar’s paintings which will premiere at Nepenthe’s ART+WINE+CHEESE event on Thursday, August 25th from 6:00-7:30pm.
