Monthly Puppet Shows at Durant Center
The Office of the Arts is hosting a series of monthly family-friendly puppet shows at the Durant Center, 1605 Cameron St., Alexandria, VA. The puppet show series is designed especially for the very youngest of audiences, so toddlers are welcome.
On Saturday, September 21, two shows are offered 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. The Beale Street Puppets will perform, “Out of Orbit.” Blast off to a Space Age Adventure! Beam aboard for far-out fun with our musical Milky Way marionettes! Aliens and Astronauts, Spaceships and Planets– just about everything in the galaxy and beyond joins together for our Astronomical Rock ‘n’ Robot Finale!

About the Puppeteer:
Beale Street Puppets. Jill Kyle-Keith has been delighting family audiences for over thirty years with her musical marionette shows. She is also a frequent slam participant and has also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and the DC Fringe and was awarded a “Best of Fringe” by The Scotsman newspaper.
