Mount Vernon Genealogical Presents Enslaved.org: A Digital History
During the Mount Vernon Genealogical Society’s Nov. 15 meeting,
Dr. Daryle Williams will take you on a tour of The Enslaved Project, an online tool that helps reconstruct the lives of the enslaved.
He’ll discuss what the platform offers and how to access its features. Time and interest permitting, Dr. Williams will also discuss how the platform is used to uncover black family history in Virginia.
Dr. Williams is the University of California/Riverside’s Dean of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
