NEW VENDORS JOINING: John Ferree, Beekeeper Extraordinaire, with his delicious varieties of fresh honey, as well as beeswax products; Don Allen, artist, craftsman with beautiful handmade pottery pieces, and Georgetown vendor Enzo with unique antiques, vintage, and Murano glass decorative items to offer for sale; Abenezer Mergia, Author of Children’s poetry.

FLEA MARKET AND ARTS AND CRAFTS BAZAAR
Many vendors will be selling — with a variety of antiques and vintage items, from the very impractical (but lovely) to the extremely practical – we have it all! This is a flea market with all the normal flea-market, antique, vintage, and practical yard-sale type items, but will additionally include arts and crafts items, gifts, as well. Come look at the jewelry, pottery, hand-tooled leather purses/bags, wreaths, and handcrafted lavender sachets with fine, fragrant French lavender inside beautiful, decorative sachet bags. There will be a good variety of items for sale – come take a look! There will be inside vendors, as well!

The Mount Vernon Flea Market features:

Community yard sale: Used good-quality household items, clothes and purses, nice furniture, art, china, glass, porcelain, pottery, books, photographs, tools, novelties, clothing, toys, jewelry (antique, vintage, handmade, new), collectibles, stamps and coins vendor, handcrafted soaps, herbal sachets; crafts, porcelain and collectible dolls, household items, hobby items, tapestries, clothes (nice clothes), hand-sewn items from a local seamstress, beautiful plants and Bonsai trees from a local gardener, wreaths & more by Sandy; practicals and impracticals, and so much more…up to 35 vendors will be set up, many with tents, and with plenty of room around each vendor space.

Some of the Georgetown Flea Market and DC Flea vendors will be on hand selling their unique and unusual items. Vendors from the former Mount Vernon Antique Store (Thieves Market), as well as your neighbors who are downsizing arts and crafts vendors, or small business ventures will normally join.

The lodge at this address is located on the original land track owned by George Washington, known as the Five Farms of Mt. Vernon Estate.
