Opening Reception & Prizes for the 2019 Athenaeum Invitational

The 2019 Athenaeum Invitational, “Board: out of our minds!”

Join us for a two hour special event celebrating the opening of the 2019 Athenaeum Invitational, “Board: out of our minds!” Artists were asked to create a board game, or be inspired by a game or the playing of a game. A $1500 prize for the best work will go to an invited artist, a $1000 prize will go to an artist from the open call, a $500 prize will be awarded based on core concept and game design, and a viewers’ choice award of $500 will be determined by popular vote.
