Piano Concert for Ukraine by Liana Paniyeva
Hailed by the New York Concert Review as ” a sensitive player.” Liana Paniyeva has performed at festivals in Norway, Hungary, Austria, Canada, England, Italy, South Africa, and Israel. Her recitals have taken her to Carnegie Hall, Worcester’s Mechanics Hall, the Myra Hess Concert Series in Chicago, to note highlights. Ms. Paniyeva has been a prize winner in a number of notable international competitions. Reviewing her recording of Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition,” Huntley Dent, of Fanfare Magazine, praised her interpretation, saying that “Paniyeva’s reading outshines many others in the catalog, including those by famous names.”
This is a free concert. We will accept tax-deductible contributions aiding war-torn Ukraine through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
