Pro-level Soccer in Alexandria — Men’s NPSL Match, May 20!

Alexandria Soccer Association (ASA) is excited to kick off another summer of professional level men’s soccer right here in Alexandria! ASA Reds open their season this Saturday, May 20th against local rival, Virginia Dream.

This is Reds second season competing in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). In their inaugural season last summer the team won the Mid-Atlantic Championship and finished as Regional Semifinalists in postseason play. The NPSL is one of the largest established men’s soccer leagues in the United States with over 90 teams competing across the country.

ASA Reds offers a high level of play, to showcase local and international talent, and give college athletes the opportunity to compete throughout the summer. Fans will recognize familiar faces who have come up through ASA’s Academy program and be wowed by international players who have moved to Alexandria for the season.

The team is coached by Will Hanna, 2022 NPSL Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year, with assistance from Christian Mejia and General Manager Leland Creadick.

Fans can expect a professional atmosphere with vendors and merchandise for sale. A great activity for the whole family. Come out and catch pro level soccer right here in your backyard!
