The Workhouse Arts Center, a project of the Workhouse Arts Foundation, Inc. is excited to announce its participation in Small Business Saturday(s)! Mark your calendars for 3 consecutive Saturdays this holiday season – when it will offer a 20% discount on all resident and associate artists original creations: Saturdays – Nov. 27, 2021 (11am – 6pm), Dec. 4, 2021 (11am – 6pm) and Dec. 11, 2021 (11am – 9pm). Come out to purchase unique gifts and help the small businesses in your community!

First observed in the United States on Nov. 27, 2010, Small Business Saturday is a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which features big box retail and e-commerce stores respectively. By contrast, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize small, local brick and mortar businesses.

Workhouse Arts Foundation, Inc, President and CEO, Leon Scioscia, said: “We are so happy, and excited, to be supporting our resident, and associate artists, by offering a 20% discount on all original Workhouse creations. We are also planning to create a very festive holiday environment on Dec. 11, 2021 – our traditional Second Saturday Art Walk. We hope to have a special edition of our Saturday Community Market occur during the day, as well as having holiday carolers, walking around campus, singing songs. During the evenings the campus quad will also be lit in special and decorative ways.”
