Velocity’s Fall Warehouse As-is Bicycle Sale

Vélocity Bicycle Cooperative’s Fall Warehouse As-is Bicycle Sale is Sunday November 8th from 9am to 3pm! Our warehouse is located behind 1502 Mount Vernon Avenue (behind Al’s Steakhouse).
This sale will be different from our normal sales as almost all of the bicycles will not be ride-able without a professional inspection and at the very least a tune-up. If you like working on bikes and always wanted to refurbish a bicycle, this sale is for you. We will have hundreds of bicycles to look through from kids bicycles, to 90s mountain bikes, to beach cruisers and vintage road bikes.
The event will be outside to allow for proper airflow and social distancing. Please ensure you have a mask or you will not be allowed to look at the bicycles. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or are feeling symptomatic, please don’t come to the sale. Volunteers will be standing by to answer any questions and help you find the right bike for you.
If you’re driving, there is parking on Mt. Vernon Ave and various side streets. We’re about a half mile walk from the Braddock Rd. station and there’s a Capital Bike Share dock on Mt. Vernon in front of Al’s Steakhouse. Please do not park in the alley.
