Warehouse Bike Sale

Vélocity Bicycle Cooperative will be having its last warehouse bicycle sale of 2022 on Saturday October 15th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This month we are happy to be joined by Phoenix Bikes (https://www.phoenixbikes.org/) who will be selling some of their bicycles as well. Our warehouse is located behind 1502 Mount Vernon Avenue (behind Al’s Steakhouse. Make sure to spot the Velocity flag).

Our sales give the community the opportunity to browse our as-is bicycle inventory, including hybrids, 90s mountain bikes, beach cruisers, kids bikes, and vintage road bikes.. We also have loads of used bicycles parts and accessories such as trailers, car racks, bike racks, trainers, wheels, rims and frames. Our warehouse sales differ from the bicycles sold at our shop because the majority of the bicycles will be sold needing, at the very least, a tune-up and have not yet been deemed rideable by our team. With Phoenix Bikes joining us, we should have a lot more ready to ride bicycles than in our past sales. We encourage you to still swing by to see if there’s something for you!

We will have the alley blocked off to ensure we are able to showcase all of Velocity and Phoenix’s bicycles.

Driving directions: there is parking on Mt. Vernon Ave and various side streets.
Metro directions: we’re about a half-mile walk from Braddock Rd. Metro station
Biking directions: there’s a Capital Bikeshare dock on Mt. Vernon Ave. in front of Al’s Steakhouse.
Please do not park in the alley.
