Yacht Haven Garden Club Fashion Show/Silent Auction/Luncheon Fundraiser

The Yacht Haven Garden Club is presenting its 38th annual Fashion Show and Luncheon –FASHION FUSION – Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Mount Vernon Country Club in Alexandria. Fashions will be provided by Johnny Was – Inspired by world cultures and the arts.

Founded in 1963, the Yacht Haven Garden Club works to further education in horticulture, floral design, and conservation among its members and surrounding communities. To achieve these goals, funds raised are divided among the following organizations and projects: the National Capital Area Garden Club (NCAGC) scholarship fund, and Friendship Garden and Fern Valley at the National Arboretum. We assist with the Honey Bee Project at the University of Maryland. We beautify the Mount Vernon Yacht Club and Sherwood Hall Library with seasonal annuals. We plant and maintain the Yacht Haven neighborhood entrances. In prior years, we have supported the Wounded Warrior Healing Garden at Fort Belvoir and foundation plantings at Mason Neck Wildlife Refuge State Park.
