City police are investigating a Monday afternoon holdup at a 500 block Van Dorn St. TD Bank.

Authorities said the suspect, described as a 6-foot black man in his 40s with short hair, strode into the bank about 2:10 p.m. and demanded money. The suspect implied he was armed.

After taking cash — police did not specify the amount — the suspect fled. No one was injured during the holdup, police said.

Wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, a black fleece jacket and dark shoes, the suspect was last seen getting into a white sedan on nearby South Pickett St.
