Police charged an Arlington man with delinquency of a minor and assault and battery after he allegedly tried to steal beer from a local store and then attacked a clerk late last month.
An unidentified 16-year-old accompanied Rudy Alberto Segovia, 20, when he attempted to swipe the alcohol from a Bradlee Shopping Center store about 2:59 a.m., November 27, authorities said. Confronted by a security guard, Segovia allegedly got into a scuffle.
The minor, who also faces an assault and battery charge, helped Segovia escape and the duo fled the store, police said. The two were caught a short distance away, according to authorities. No one was injured in the fight.
