Pitted once more against the rival behind T.C. Williams’ early exit from the Patriot District tournament in February, the Titans set things right.
But it was far from easy.
In a back-and-forth battle for the backboard, T.C. came out ahead of an unstable Annandale Atoms squad, 56-50. Though the Titans remain undefeated, the Atoms gave them their first real challenge of the season.
Annandale held T.C. to under 60 points the Titans beat Wakefield, West Springfield and Hayfield 63-40, 69-34, 71-41, respectively and outscored the T.C. squad in the first and second quarters.
Jamal Pullen and Jordan Byrd led the Titans in scoring during a quiet night for TJ Huggins and Tyrell Sitton. The 4-0 Titans take on W.T. Woodson Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., the final game before the holiday break.
