Three juveniles attempting to steal a local supermarkets bench fled after an onlooker threatened to call police last month, authorities said. 
    
Surveillance cameras outside of the Giant supermarket  on the 3100 block of Duke St. caught the November 21 incident. When confronted, at about 3:05 p.m., the youths dropped the bench and ran, said Jody Donaldson, department spokesman. 
    
Authorities later used the video footage to identify and arrest one of the suspects in a nearby skate park. He was charged with larceny.
