The Alexandria Police Department has cleared the scene of the AMC Hoffman Center 22 movie theater after a bomb threat was made against it earlier in the evening.

Police reported the bomb threat at the AMC Hoffman Center, located at the Hoffman Town Center on Swamp Fox Road, just before 7 p.m. They announced the all clear two hours later at 8:59 p.m.

Police haven’t released further details about the incident.
