Prince George’s County police have charged 49-year-old Linwood Johnson of Oxon Hill, Md., with the murder of Alexandria community leader Lenny Harris, the Washington Examiner reports.
Robbery was the motive for the killing, according to the Examiner, which reports police have obtained a confession from Johnson and have recovered a gun used to kill Harris.
Other arrests in connection with the killing are “imminent,” the newspaper reported.
Harris, 53, went missing last September. He was found in a well last weekend behind a house in Fort Washington, Md.
