Alexandria-based McKinley Marketing Partners Inc., a pioneer provider of Interim Marketing Managers to Fortune 1000 companies and trade associations, has appointed Susie Aubuchon and Heidi Parsont to Vice President positions and Bruce Prouty to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
Susie Aubuchon joined McKinley in January of 2005, as a Director of Business Development, where she was responsible for developing the telecommunications and technology market around the metro area. Prior to McKinley, with MCI and XO Communications, Susie built channel support programs for emerging sales organizations. She was responsible for the creation of an organization-wide communications plan for which she developed internal/external messaging, the launch of a CRM application, as well as all sales support documents and process. Susie holds a BA from Guilford College.
In her new role as Vice President of Client Services, Susie oversees both the project management and marketing teams. Susie’s responsibilities include the oversight of all project management needs, the direction of all marketing efforts, and the management of the consultant on-boarding process.
“One of the pieces that I think is most important for 2008 is to make sure that our new website, which launched in May, brings great opportunity for new business development and marketing efforts.” said Susie.
Heidi Parsont joined McKinley in October of 2004 as a Director of Business Development where she was responsible for the media and entertainment industry segments in the DC metro market. Prior to McKinley, with National Journal Group Inc. (now Atlantic Media Company), Heidi managed the business development and customer relations teams. She directed the strategy for subscriber acquisition and retention as well as ongoing customer education for a host of business-to-business publications.
As the new Vice President of Business Development for the Northeast Region, Heidi’s responsibilities include managements of the sales teams in NY, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. “This year, our goal is to learn more about our market and meet revenue plan. We are striving for a strong year in an unpredictable market,” Heidi said about her department’s goals. Heidi holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA from Colgate University.
Bruce Prouty joined McKinley in April 2001 as the company’s Controller, where he was responsible for managing all finance and accounting functions, including quarterly forecasts, budget management, and accounting software implementation. After earning a BSBA from Georgetown University, Bruce began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen. Subsequently, his career path led to positions of increased responsibility at Centex Construction Group, Tarmac Limited, and two start-up companies.
As the new COO and CFO, Bruce oversees all of the company’s operations and administration functions, serving a key member of senior management to help define McKinley’s strategic direction. He plays a critical role in providing the measurements to evaluate the company’s success against its initiatives. In addition to his role, Bruce serves on McKinley’s Board of Directors.
