The National Paint and Coatings Association just underwent the biggest change of President Andy Doyles 20-year tenure.

After voting results released last week, his 300 corporate-member association has merged with the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology, a 4,000 individual-member body.

This is a governance merger, with FSCT remaining in Pennsylvania and functioning as a NPCA subsidiary. FSCTs nine employees will keep their jobs and Andy will head both.
