The Lee II model townhouse at Potomac Greens has won Craftmark Homes a first prize from the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association in its annual Monument Awards competition. Priced in the $700,000 range with 2,300 square feet of living space, it is among the seven designs now for sale.
The townhouses all display the charm of the traditional Federal style that is so popular throughout the region. It combines with the convenience of its Potomac Plaza shopping center, including the Rustico restaurant and Periwinkle boutique, plus a community center, swimming pool, “tot lot” and close proximity to the George Washington Parkway.
GROUND FLOOR: The home can be entered through either the rear two-car garage or the front door. Conveniently located between them, the recreation room provides oak stairs to the main level.
SECOND FLOOR: The open, flowing floor plan includes a front living room, a dining space, a rear family area and its adjoining kitchen. The entire level is enriched and unified by 10-foot ceilings above crown molding and hardwood floors. Granite counters, stainless steel appliances and maple cabinets create a gourmet kitchen. Elegant paneled doors conceal the powder room in the front parlor. This living room also displays oak stairways leading to the lower and upper levels.
THIRD FLOOR: Beneath nine-foot ceilings, the hardwood floors continue in the hallway, which overlooks the living area below. The hallway separates the front master suite from the two rear bedrooms. The master bath provides a soaking tub plus a separate glass-enclosed shower and dual sinks with Corian counters. The other two bedrooms share a hallway bath.
FOURTH FLOOR: A roof deck adjoins the party room, with its optional wet bar and bath, all designed for entertaining and showing off your exciting new home.
Twenty Craftmark units are still available in this planned community of more than 225. A decorated model is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
