Stevens Named L&F President
David H. Stevens, 51, has been appointed president and chief operating officer of the Long & Foster companies, including Long & Foster Real Estate, Prosperity Mortgage Company, Long & Foster Insurance and Long & Foster Settlement Services.  Stevens had been president of the mortgage, title, and insurance divisions since joining the firm in July of 2006.

Brenda Shipplett, who had been president since 2004, has returned to regional management of Long & Foster Real Estate.

Stevens had previously been executive vice president and national wholesale manager at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, responsible for all sales, operations, and finance.  Prior to that he was senior vice resident of the single family business at Freddie Mac where he was responsible for all sales and marketing, affordable lending, product development, loan prospecting and communications.

He began his career at World Savings Bank, where after 16 years of increasing responsibility, he was promoted to group senior vice president and national sales manager for its mortgage division.

In addition, he was the founding executive sponsor of the Womens Mortgage Industry Network and coordinated the first Latino joint venture initiative between Freddie Mac and Latino mortgage industry leaders.  He is on the board of directors of Real Estate Services Providers Council.

A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, he now lives in Oakton with his wife, Mary, and four children.

Prudential Awards
Dolly Reigert Woodruff has been named the top producer for September at Prudential Carruthers Realtors of Alexandria. Susan Elbertson led for sales and Marilyn Trudeau for listings. In addition, Woodruff and Elbertson were both cited for sales of more than $1 million during the month.

Weichert Team Tops
The entire Alexandria/Old Town office sales team led the Weichert Realtors region in resale listings for September. The region consists of 18 offices throughout Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Long & Foster Lauds Leaders 
The Poole/Braun Team were the top producers and top listers at the Alexandria/Mount Vernon office of Long & Foster with a sales volume of $2.2 million. The team also joined Manfredy Lopez as the agents with the most new listings (two each). Elfie Biankini was the top seller.

Renee Reymond was the top producer and the top lister at the Alexandria/Old Town Historic District office of Long & Foster with a sales volume of $4.6 million. Sean Satkus was the top seller. Chris White was the agent with most new listings (three).

At the same location, Sean Satkus, Kendra Carey-Satkus, Mary Bourke and Franki Roberts were among the Long & Foster Gold Team top producers who took part in the five-day annual retreat at El Conquistador Retreat & Spa in Puerto Rico. 

With a sales volume of $1.3 million, Brad Kintz was the top producer as well as the agent with the most new listings (four) at the Alexandria/Old Town office.  Bob Skinner was the top lister and Dave Okonsky was the top seller.
