Design house to benefit American Heart Association
A 14-room design house showcasing new ideas in construction, interior design, home technology, landscaping, wine cellars and trend-setting accents will be open for public viewing Nov. 4-6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 12160 Richland Lane in Oak Hill. The design house features the talent of designer Carol Monteil and Laureate Homes, as well as pieces from Dragon Fly Antiques. All proceeds from the showcase benefit the American Heart Association. Coldwell Banker announces August top agents

Von Buhr joins Weichert
Arlis Simmons, branch manager of Weichert Realtors McLean Center office, announced Michael Von Buhr has joined the office as a sales associate. Possessing one year of experience as a licensed real estate professional, Von Buhr previously was a sales associate at another local firm. Weicherts McLean Center office is at 1355 Beverly Road, McLean.

Keaton named manager at Weichert
Ray Chappell, regional vice president of Weichert Realtors, announced the appointment of Shane Keaton to the position of manager for the companys Centreville/Clifton office.
Prior to being named manager, Keaton was a top-producing sales associate in the Centreville/Clifton office, located at 5955 Centreville Crest Lane, for more than 10 years. A member of Weicherts Presidents Club, he also served as a recruiter and new-agent trainer for the office. He possesses a Virginia brokers license and completed Weicherts Management Awareness Program in 2004.
