Weichert Realtors successfully completed its 29th Annual Toy Drive, collecting more than 23,700 new toys for disadvantaged children this past holiday season.

The collected toys were donated to numerous charities including the Make a Wish Foundation, Cerebral Palsy Association, Salvation Army, United Way, National Center for Children and Family, Head Start, Marine Toys for Tots, Visiting Nurse Associations, Patrolmen’s Benevolent Associations, as well as several local shelters and soup kitchens.

“The Weichert Family of Companies continues its commitment to helping better the lives of those in need within our community,” said James M. Weichert, president and founder of Weichert, Realtors. “We were delighted by the support and altruism displayed by our sales associates and employees, as well as the residents of the communities we serve in our annual toy drive.”

The new, unwrapped toys were collected by Weichert, Realtors sales offices, corporate staff members and franchise affiliates. In addition to the toys collected, Weichert also collected clothes, food and financial contributions, which were passed along to various charities.

Weichert has nearly 18,300 sales associates in over 520 company-owned and franchised sales offices in key markets throughout the U.S.  A family of full-service real estate and financial services companies, Weichert helps customers buy and sell both residential and commercial real estate, and streamlines the delivery of mortgages and home and title insurance.
