Specialty glasses retailer Warby Parker is opening its Old Town location on Saturday. 

The new location at 805 King St. popular retailer’s second Virginia location after its Tysons Corner store. Warby Parker will offer an array of glasses for adults and kids at its Old Town location, as well as prescription checks through an app that can be used at home or with the help of a store associate.

The new Warby Parker is located in the former Duchess M location, which has been renovated with gray and white tarrazzo tile flooring, brass and walnut detailing and a marble reference desk. The new location also has custom artwork by D.C. artist Matt Chase. The store will also offer a frame that’s exclusive to the Old Town location: Jet black with flash mirrored iridescent lenses. 

The store will accept some forms of insurance and is in network with UnitedHealthcare.

It’s located in one of the storefronts purchased by Charlotte-based Asana Partners in 2016. Asana Director of Merchandising & Leasing Kate Grissom noted Warby Parker last year as one of the tenants the company was interested in recruiting for Old Town.

During the grand opening on Saturday, Warby Parker will serve Sugar Shack Donuts.
