Bishop Ireton added to their win streak after pummeling backyard rival St. Stephens and St. Agnes 42-14 at home September 17.
Junior quarterback P.J. Zingler had a field day, spreading the ball around en route to the victory. In the first half alone, he connected with wide receiver Moses Webb for two short touchdown passes and teammate Malcolm Westbrook for a 12-yard route into the end zone.
Webb added a 66-yard rushing touchdown to his resume in the rout. Zingler sailed a pass to senior wideout Merid Merid for the final touchdown of the game. In all, Zingler came away with a 239-yard performance.
The 3-0 Cardinals head down the street to take on Episcopal next, while the 0-2 Saints hit the road to face Potomac for a 2 p.m. game September 24.
