Guests will get creative with hands-on projects including the popular Champagne Cork Chairs Workshop, Bubble Gum Painting, and a Create-Your-Own Button activity.BosmaDance: 2:30-4 p.m.At 2:30 p.m., four dancers from award-winning BosmaDance will present a site-inspired collaboration. Each dancer pairs with a Torpedo Factory artist to create a physical piece inspired by the artwork and performs the dance right in the artist’s studio. Visual and performing arts collide as physicality leaps into painting, sculpture and printmaking. The dancers will present a finale performance inspired by the various studio dances from 3:30-4 p.m.Alexandria Symphony Orchestra: 1-3:30 p.m.From 1-2:15 p.m., guests will enjoy music from Alison Bazala Kim, cellist of the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra. Kim will perform popular songs, various movements from Bach, and works by Tschaikowsky, Mendelssohn and other great composers. From 2:30-3:30 p.m., visitors are invited to join Kim and an Art League instructor for a blind drawing activity inspired by music from the cello.
Indoor Art Festival: Noon-4 p.m.The street fair continues with featured Torpedo Factory non-resident artists offering one-of-a-kind pieces for sale along the main hall of the Torpedo Factory.
